This three-day course provides the same concepts of our PHA team leader course, including how to conduct a HAZOP, your role as a HAZOP leader, techniques for effective facilitation, and optimizing HAZOP team performance. This course also introduces revalidation techniques of HAZOPs. The training focuses on HAZOP workshops to allow attendees to participate in real type situation case studies role playing as a HAZOP team leader leading a HAZOP team.
You will learn how to effectively prepare, lead and document HAZOPs and risk-ranking hazard scenarios using a simplified LOPA technique. You will also learn how to maximize the identification of Hazard Scenarios. An introduction to LOPA, understanding where/how it fits in with regard to other hazard assessment methods, and planning and executing a LOPA study will also be covered.
