Senior Safety and Risk Management Consultant

Location: Minneapolis, MN; Salem, NH; Houston, TX

This is a full-time position in our Minneapolis, Houston or Salem NH office.

The ideal candidate must be experienced in all aspects of process safety and risk management and be able to work effectively with clients in helping them implement their process safety management programs. Experience in the oil and gas, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries is desired. Requirements, specific skills and consulting experience include:

• Process hazard analysis including HAZOP, fault tree analysis and layer of protection analysis
• Safety integrity level analysis
• Fixed facility and transportation quantitative risk assessment
• Process safety management auditing
• Incident investigation and root cause analysis
• Dust explosion hazard analysis
• Chemical reactivity hazards
• Facility siting analysis
• Software for documenting process hazard analyses and audits, and conducting consequence and risk analyses
• Training
• Project management experience
• Good written and oral communication skills
• B.S. in Engineering, preferably Chemical Engineering
• Minimum of five (5) years experience in process safety
• Sales and marketing experience for consulting services required

Safety and Risk Management Analyst

Location: Minneapolis, MN; Salem, NH; Houston, TX

ioMosaic Corporation is looking for detail-oriented chemical engineering graduates with a desire to succeed and a willingness to learn. You will be provided with a mentor to train you in the finer aspects of process safety and risk management, and to further develop your engineering skills. Upon developing the necessary skills you will be working as a key member of our team executing projects for the world’s largest production companies.

Accountabilities

Your general responsibilities will include:

• Evaluating and designing pressure relief systems
• Developing detailed safety and risk management design documentation
• Delivering high-quality technical evaluations
• Providing support for on-going safety and risk management case work including LNG hazard analysis, HAZOP support, and litigation services

Required Attributes

• Technical writing capabilities, including presentation of technical material in a logical, usable manner

Upon developing the necessary skills you will be working as a key member of our team executing projects for the world’s largest production companies.

Accountabilities

Your general responsibilities will include:

• Software development and maintenance
• Troubleshoot and find resolutions to complex technical problems
• Test software, fix software bugs and deliver fixes or patches to customers
• Document problem solutions in company knowledge base

Required Attributes

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in design, delivery and execution of web-based enterprise wide solutions
• Strong programming background is required, including direct experience using .NET Framework, ASP.NET and C#, JavaScript, HTML, ActiveX
• A good understanding of backend database technologies, particularly MS SQL
• Communication skills, including willingness to interact with various people
