    Senior Safety and Risk Management Consultant - Process Safety Management Section Leader

    Location: Salem, NH, Houston, TX or Minneapolis, MN area

    The ideal candidate must be experienced in all aspects of process safety and risk management and be able to work effectively with clients in helping them implement their process safety management programs. He/she must be able to generate business and have experience in the oil and gas, petrochemical and/or pharmaceutical industries.

    Successful applicants will have a minimum of 15 years of experience encompassing:

    • Business development
    • Process hazard analysis including HAZOP, fault tree analysis and layer of protection analysis
    • Safety integrity level analysis
    • Fixed facility and transportation quantitative risk assessment
    • Process safety management auditing
    • Incident investigation and root cause analysis
    • Dust explosion hazard analysis
    • Chemical reactivity hazards
    • Facility siting analysis
    • Software for documenting process hazard analyses and audits, and conducting consequence and risk analyses
    • Training
    • Expert testimony experience
    • Project management experience
    • Good written and oral communication skills

    The Senior Safety and Risk Management Consultant position holds a partner role within the firm. As such, duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

    Managing Client Relationships

    • Develop and monitor client and account strategies
    • Identify new business opportunities and convert proposals
    • Project Management
    • Advancing professional expertise

    Managing Staff

    • Maintain and develop staffing levels to meet current and projected pipeline of work
    • Assess skill levels and create development plan for direct reports
    • Effectively coach unit leaders on staff development, P&L, resource usage and technical issues

    Leadership and Organizational Learning

    • Create a vision for self, ioMosaic section, and client
    • Motivate and inspire team to exceed expectations

    Knowledge Management

    • Keep abreast of industry and functional trends and be current on ioMosaic product portfolio in own field.
    • As project manager, ensure that project documentation is maintained and accurately updated in ioXpress.
    • Ensure that industry, functional, key-client, and project knowledge is accessible to project team members.

    EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL CREDENTIALS

    • BS in Chemical Engineering or related technical area required
    • An MBA is preferred
    • PE licensure desirable

    The position can be based in the Salem, NH, Houston, or Minneapolis area and will require up to 50% travel for work at client sites.


    Help Desk/Network Administrator

    Location: Salem, NH

    ioMosaic is looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented and responsive Help Desk/Network Administrator to support the information technology systems for our rapidly growing company. The ideal candidate will report to our Senior Partner of Enterprise Solutions and will maintain and administer ioMosaic’s computer networks as well as provide IT support to staff in all three of our office locations and to those staff working at client sites.

    This is a newly developed position with opportunity for growth. It is ideal for someone who enjoys the opportunities and challenges that come with being part of an emerging company in a high growth phase. The successful candidate will be a creative problem-solver with strong customer orientation and will possess the following:

    Skills and Experience:

    • 5+ years of experience designing the architecture of network infrastructure.
    • 5+ years network administration and engineering experience
    • 2 years experience working with cloud-based solutions.
    • 2+ years VMWare or other virtualization administration experience.
    • 2+ years experience managing firewall and load balancer appliances.
    • Ability to work quickly and accurately with minimal supervision on some or all of the following tasks: Managing DNS infrastructure; Single sign on and federated identity systems; Automated backup & monitoring; Certificate management; Firewall and load balancer appliances; Switch and routing equipment; Linux/Unix operating systems; Third party web applications including Apache httpd, Apache Tomcat, JBoss, etc; DNS infrastructure; Automated backup facilities; Automated monitoring facilities; Certificate management.
    • Ability to work well in a team environment and be willing to help other team members when appropriate.
    • Proven ability to perform well in an environment that focuses on producing tangible results in a defined timeframe.
    • Excellent client service and communication skills.

    Education and Qualifications:

    • Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and experience in systems operation and administration, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
    • Knowledge of operating environments, including Windows server, SAN/NAS storage, VMware, database, and/or network data.
    • Knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, and methodologies.
    • General knowledge of business functions and business operations.


    Director of Business Development

    Location: Houston, TX

    Our ideal candidate will report to the President & CEO and will be an energetic go-getter, experienced in working collaboratively with Key managers, Section Leaders and the business development and marketing team to cultivate and grow new and existing accounts within the oil and gas, petrochemical and chemical industries. This individual will assist in defining long-term, strategic organizational goals; build key customer relationships; identify business opportunities; negotiate and close business deals; and, maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions.

    Some of the responsibilities for this position will include:

    • Build and maintain customer relationships
    • Maximize revenue through the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of strategic sales and service plans with key clients
    • Identify business opportunities
    • Negotiate and close business deals
    • Pursue sales leads and prospective clients
    • Deliver presentations and proposals
    • Develop business plans that include marketing strategies
    • Maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions and report this to key staff

    The successful applicant must have:

    • Demonstrated ability to develop and grow new accounts
    • Strong solution selling experience
    • Excellent communication, analytical and financial skills
    • Strong leadership capabilities
    • Proven revenue generation, strategy and management experience
    • Knowledge of the oil, gas, petrochemical and chemical industry as it relates to safety and risk management

    This position may require travel to client and projects sites as well as industry related conferences or tradeshows. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in business or industry related field and must be legally authorized to work in the United States. A minimum of 5 years business development or sales experience in the oil, gas, petrochemical and chemical industry is necessary. This position must have previous experience managing and leading the sales effort for markets, regions and/or territory.


    Senior Relief Systems Consultant

    Location: Houston, TX

    The ideal candidate will report to a unit or section leader and will evaluate and design pressure relief and flare systems for clients in the oil and gas, petrochemical and chemical industry. As a member of a growing company, this individual must be able to hit the ground running and possess strong project management skills to manage cases, define resource plans, designate and schedule resources, develop budgets and approve invoicing, maintain project schedules and ensure timely delivery of products or reports within the project scope. This individual will guide and help to develop junior staff and will provide QA/QC of project deliverables.

    The successful applicant must have:

    • Excellent engineering, mathematical, computational and design skills
    • Experience managing projects and teams
    • Experience facilitating large groups of senior staff
    • Good written and oral communication skills
    • Ability to present the work of others both to internal staff and external clients
    • Good computer literacy and familiarity with process simulation/dispersion modeling software
    • Experience supervising and training staff

    A minimum of 5 years Pressure Relief and Flare Systems (PRFS) Design experience in the oil and gas, petrochemical and chemical industry required. This position may require travel to client site. Applicants should have a BS in Chemical Engineering and must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

    Safety and Risk Management Analyst

    Our ideal candidates will be detail-oriented chemical engineering graduates with a desire to succeed and a willingness to learn. You will be provided with a mentor to train you in the finer aspects of process safety and risk management, and to further develop your engineering skills. Upon developing the necessary skills you will be working as a key member of our team executing projects for the world largest production companies.

    Some of the responsibilities for this position will include:

    • Evaluating and designing pressure relief systems
    • Developing detailed safety and risk management design documentation
    • Delivering high-quality technical evaluations
    • Providing support for on-going safety and risk management case work including LNG hazard analysis, HAZOP support, and litigation services

    The successful applicants must have:

    • Communication skills, including willingness to interact with various people
    • High efficiency and organizational skills
    • Attention to detail
    • Technical writing capabilities, including presentation of technical material in a logical, usable manner
    • Problem-solving abilities, including systematic approach to identification of problems and implementation of solutions
