    Sales and Business Development Director

    Location: Houston, TX

    Key Objective:

    From our Houston office, the successful candidate will develop and implement strategic sales plans that take into account revenue and profit targets, market penetration strategies, risks and competitive analysis to accomplish corporate goals.

    Duties:

    • Lead the development and ongoing execution of sales strategies for ioMosaic in the United States, Bahrain and client affiliated sites worldwide
    • Create long and short term sales objectives that will increase:
      • market share
      • client win rate
      • profitability
    • Analyze the effectiveness of sales programs and processes, recommend and implement changes
    • Monitor all incoming leads and assign such leads to the appropriate sales professional including personally assuming appropriate leads
    • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to accomplish growth targets by identifying, tracking and qualifying projects
    • Attain aggressive sales goals with high volume in person and phone contacts
    • Increase penetration into existing clients by developing additional contacts
    • Gain initial entry into new clients for services and product offerings
    • Assure immediate response to all client inquiries
    • Skillfully resolve conflicts and negotiate with others both within and outside the organization to remove barriers to selling
    • Ensure the implementation and use of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software
    • Maintain budgetary control of sales expenses
    • Coordinate product and service pricing and service fulfillment with corporate staff
    • Assist in the development and implementation of ioMosaic’s ongoing marketing efforts
    • Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and intelligence such as market trends and changes that will lead to:
      • new opportunities
      • identify competitive threats
      • possible acquisition opportunities
    • Develop and deliver directly or with sales support, presentations to key clients and prospects
    • Represent ioMosaic at trade shows, professional meetings and industry forums as deemed appropriate

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or Engineering from a four-year college or university
    • 8+ years’ sales experience within the engineering or consulting services sector of the oil and gas or chemical processing industry
    • Direct sales experience with an emphasis on major accounts
    • Practical working knowledge of principles and methods of promoting and selling products and services, including sales strategies, technical services presentations and influencing customer decisions
    • Proven track record for establishing and meeting revenue targets
    • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills to quickly assess a client’s needs and the products and services ioMosaic can provide to satisfy those needs.
    • Excellent platform skills and the ability to easily interact and at all levels of a client organization.
    • Must be able to travel nationally and internationally as deemed necessary to meet client and corporate requirements.


    Software Engineer

    Location: Salem, NH

    ioMosaic is looking for a junior to mid-level Software Engineer with solid hands-on experience with SQL, C#, and ASP.NET development. The sucessful candidate will participate in the entire solution's lifecycle from research and development to deployment of enterprise applications with direct interaction with clients.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Aid in the maintenance and on-going support of existing software applications, engaging users as necessary
    • Provide solutions to client defined data and reporting needs
    • Analyze manual processes and design programs to automate those processes
    • Design, code, test, document and write SQL stored procedures, and troubleshoot
    • Develop database-driven web interfaces for rapid, real-time information sharing
    • Collaboration with others to test and resolve issues with deliverables
    • Work on multiple projects providing development and maintenance work with limited direct supervision
    • Demonstrated commitment to continual learning while maintaining a knowledge base
    • Analysis, development and documentation of technical requirements

    Desired Skills and Experience:

    • Strong knowledge of C#, .NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, MVC2/3, .Net Framework, and Visual Studio 2008/2012
    • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
    • Experience with relational database development using MS SQL server, stored procedures and competencies in data modeling and database design
    • Working knowledge of Web Services, .Net Framework and Applications, Windows Workflow Foundation, Security Vulnerabilities
    • Experience with AJAX, XML, XSL, XSLT, CSS, JavaScript, HTML and Web Services
    • Understanding and working knowledge of basic Internet protocols such as HTTP, SMTP, SOAP, POP, SSL
    • Minimum of 2 years of developing web-based applications
    • Strong communication skills
    • Previous experience with developing applications using Microsoft Products, i.e. Excel and MS Access is a plus
    • Team focused attitude
    • Ability to manage tasks, work both independently and with team members, and prioritize workload
    • Ability to meet deadlines and provide required data, documents and information to others as requested
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in software engineering or related field
    • M.S. degress in software engineering with undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering a plus


    Senior Safety and Risk Management Consultant - Process Safety Management Section Leader

    Location: Salem, NH, Houston, TX or Minneapolis, MN area

    The ideal candidate must be experienced in all aspects of process safety and risk management and be able to work effectively with clients in helping them implement their process safety management programs. He/she must be able to generate business and have experience in the oil and gas, petrochemical and/or pharmaceutical industries.

    Successful applicants will have a minimum of 15 years of experience encompassing:

    • Business development
    • Process hazard analysis including HAZOP, fault tree analysis and layer of protection analysis
    • Safety integrity level analysis
    • Fixed facility and transportation quantitative risk assessment
    • Process safety management auditing
    • Incident investigation and root cause analysis
    • Dust explosion hazard analysis
    • Chemical reactivity hazards
    • Facility siting analysis
    • Software for documenting process hazard analyses and audits, and conducting consequence and risk analyses
    • Training
    • Expert testimony experience
    • Project management experience
    • Good written and oral communication skills

    The Senior Safety and Risk Management Consultant position holds a partner role within the firm. As such, duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

    Managing Client Relationships

    • Develop and monitor client and account strategies
    • Identify new business opportunities and convert proposals
    • Project Management
    • Advancing professional expertise

    Managing Staff

    • Maintain and develop staffing levels to meet current and projected pipeline of work
    • Assess skill levels and create development plan for direct reports
    • Effectively coach unit leaders on staff development, P&L, resource usage and technical issues

    Leadership and Organizational Learning

    • Create a vision for self, ioMosaic section, and client
    • Motivate and inspire team to exceed expectations

    Knowledge Management

    • Keep abreast of industry and functional trends and be current on ioMosaic product portfolio in own field.
    • As project manager, ensure that project documentation is maintained and accurately updated in ioXpress.
    • Ensure that industry, functional, key-client, and project knowledge is accessible to project team members.

    EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL CREDENTIALS

    • BS in Chemical Engineering or related technical area required
    • An MBA is preferred
    • PE licensure desirable

    The position can be based in the Salem, NH, Houston, or Minneapolis area and will require up to 50% travel for work at client sites.


    Senior Relief Systems Consultant

    Location: Houston, TX

    The ideal candidate will report to a unit or section leader and will evaluate and design pressure relief and flare systems for clients in the oil and gas, petrochemical and chemical industry. As a member of a growing company, this individual must be able to hit the ground running and possess strong project management skills to manage cases, define resource plans, designate and schedule resources, develop budgets and approve invoicing, maintain project schedules and ensure timely delivery of products or reports within the project scope. This individual will guide and help to develop junior staff and will provide QA/QC of project deliverables.

    The successful applicant must have:

    • Excellent engineering, mathematical, computational and design skills
    • Experience managing projects and teams
    • Experience facilitating large groups of senior staff
    • Good written and oral communication skills
    • Ability to present the work of others both to internal staff and external clients
    • Good computer literacy and familiarity with process simulation/dispersion modeling software
    • Experience supervising and training staff

    A minimum of 5 years Pressure Relief and Flare Systems (PRFS) Design experience in the oil and gas, petrochemical and chemical industry required. This position may require travel to client site. Applicants should have a BS in Chemical Engineering and must be legally authorized to work in the United States.


    Senior Safety and Risk Management Consultant

    Safety and Risk Management Analyst

    Location: Minneapolis, MN; Houston, TX; Salem, NH

    Our ideal candidates will be detail-oriented chemical engineering graduates with a desire to succeed and a willingness to learn. You will be provided with a mentor to train you in the finer aspects of process safety and risk management, and to further develop your engineering skills. Upon developing the necessary skills you will be working as a key member of our team executing projects for the world largest production companies.

    Some of the responsibilities for this position will include:

    • Evaluating and designing pressure relief systems
    • Developing detailed safety and risk management design documentation
    • Delivering high-quality technical evaluations
    • Providing support for on-going safety and risk management case work including LNG hazard analysis, HAZOP support, and litigation services

    The successful applicants must have:

    • Communication skills, including willingness to interact with various people
    • High efficiency and organizational skills
    • Attention to detail
    • Technical writing capabilities, including presentation of technical material in a logical, usable manner
    • Problem-solving abilities, including systematic approach to identification of problems and implementation of solutions

    Applicants should have a BS in Chemical Engineering and must be legally authorized to work in the United States.


    Laboratory Technician/Engineer

    Entry-level, Full-time position

    Location: Salem, NH

    Our partner firm, ioKinetic, LLC (advanced testing laboratory) is seeking a highly motivated, proactive, creative, laboratory technician to work in their leading edge, testing laboratory.

    Primary responsibilities include:

    • Carrying out laboratory scale testing protocols
    • Writing test reports
    • Preparing materials for shipping/receiving shipments
    • Writing purchase requisitions for laboratory purchases
    • Ensuring equipment and facilities are well maintained and meet safety specifications
    • Following ISO and established laboratory procedures

    Qualified applicants must possess:

    • Bachelor Degree in chemistry or chemical engineering
    • Some laboratory experience
    • Basic understanding of laboratory safety and procedures
    • Good written and oral communication skills
    • Ability to follow written directions
    • Interest in coming up to speed quickly on cutting edge instruments and data evaluation
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
    • Basic understanding of office programs, such as Word and Excel
    • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer

    Additional qualifications:

    • Experience operating calorimeters or conducting combustible dust characterization testing a plus
    • Hazmat/DOT Certification a plus
