Intro to OSHA PSM & Ensuring OSHA PSM Compliance

ioMosaic’s Intro to OSHA PSM and PSM Compliance course is intended for anyone involved in the implementation of the requirements to comply with OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM). This course will cover the application of management systems and controls, so that process hazards are identified, understood, and controlled, with the goal of preventing process-related injuries and incidents. We will focus on six PSM elements:

  • Process Safety Information (PSI)
  • Process Hazard Analysis (PHA)
  • Management of Change (MOC)
  • Pre-Startup Safety Review (PSSR)
  • Mechanical Integrity (MI)
  • Operating Procedures

OSHA’s PSM standard 29 CFR Part 1910.119 contains requirements for the safe management of hazards associated with processes using, storing, manufacturing, handling, or moving highly hazardous chemicals onsite. Our PSM compliance portion of our training will provide you with knowledge on how to systematically develop and implement an effective and successful process safety management (PSM) program. It will cover the specific OSHA requirements of each of the 14 PSM elements.
