Adam Habshey

Safety and Risk Management Consultant

Mr. Habshey has over five years of experience with pressure relief and flare systems design and analysis for large chemical, petrochemical, and pharmaceutical companies in Europe and the United States. He specializes in reaction kinetic model development to perform dynamic two-phase reactive relief sizing calculations.

Project Sampling

Performs emergency relief system (ERS) design for chemical, petrochemical and public utilities companies.

Experienced with the development of relief system mitigation options and provides advice to clients.

Knowledgeable in steady-state and dynamic simulations on vessels, column systems, and reactors based on API and DIERS standards for single and multiphase flow methodologies.

Participated in the development of algorithms for partially filled horizontal vessel heads, dynamically model-ing vessel wall temperatures, and determining surface area of a piping network given a fire circle.

Performs PSV stability analysis using force balances and critical line length analysis.

Performs atmospheric dispersion analysis for toxicity, flammability, thermal radiation, and noise.

Experienced with Process Safety Office® SuperChems® for pressure relief design calculations and development of kinetic models from calorimetry data.

Experienced in analyzing chemical calorimetry data such as ARC, VSP, and APTAC.
