Many chemical companies, toll manufacturers, and certified contract, development, and manufacturing organizations (CDMO) often use the same process equipment for the production of different chemistries or recipes.
These companies face a significant challenge to properly and safely adapt the processing of the many different chemicals that they manufacture to their equipment. Typical multipurpose process equipments include chemical reactors, blenders, storage vessels, dryers, mixers, etc.
