DIERS 2026 Fall Meeting

Mark your calendar for the DIERS 2026 Fall Meeting happening on October 26-28, 2026. Chemical engineers from all over the world will come together at the Hilton Post Oak/Houston Galleria Area in Houston, Texas, for three days to share their insights on sizing emergency pressure relief devices and systems.

NOTE: Professional Development Credits for attendance at DIERS meetings are available upon request.

Call for Abstracts

The focal topic for this DIERS meeting is: "Selecting the Right Strategy for Overpressure Protection".

Come present your findings and gain recognition for your work. DIERS welcomes presentations on subjects pertaining to runaway reaction, equipment overpressure, and emergency pressure relief. Group Dinner

A group dinner is planned for Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at 7:00pm at a nearby restaurant to be determined. Attendees will order from the restaurant menu and pay for their own meals. Stay tuned for more information about the dinner.

Internet access in guest and meeting rooms is complimentary. Event parking is $12 per day. Overnight parking for hotel guests is $18 per day. The parking garage is located at the rear of the hotel. An indoor fitness center and outdoor pool are available for hotel guests. The hotel’s check-in time is 3:00pm and check-out time is 12:00pm.

What's Included

The daily registration fee includes a continental breakfast, morning and afternoon coffee break, lunch, meeting room rental, audio/visual charges, and other meeting expenses.
